Woods Events & Co. is a family-run business with roots in the vibrant world of hospitality, design, and entertainment. Born from the beautiful beaches of Greece, the concept of our company was envisioned by Fani and Alex, who both have decades of experience in the hospitality industry and a shared passion for creating memorable experiences.

Fani brings 26 years of expertise in hospitality management, having worked in some of Vancouver's most prestigious venues, including managing events at UBC for 10 years and overseeing events & golf tournaments at Marine Drive Golf Club. Her background spans tourism, public relations, performing arts, direction, set design, and event production, giving her a unique ability to craft events that are not only seamless but also deeply meaningful and visually stunning.

Alex, with 20 years of experience DJing at top venues across Greece and Vancouver, has mastered the art of curating the perfect vibe for any event. Whether it’s a wedding, corporate gathering, or intimate party, Alex knows how to get people in the groove and keep them dancing all night.

Our history goes beyond hospitality and events—our sign fabrication roots trace back to the 1970s, when Fani’s family business started creating iconic signs, including the legendary East Van Cross in Vancouver. This legacy of craftsmanship and creativity continues to guide us today, blending tradition with innovation in every aspect of what we do.
